Yes, Jesus, it is a reorganization. No changes at Alta Vista. Many hospitals are suffering right now. As strange as it seems with COVID but many hospital also lost many surgery cases to being postponed per state orders Those are the real money makers for many hospitals.

Is everyone here; let me know for the Switchboard the if departments or professors that are answering from home. Or is it just emails that you are receiving. I know that Registrars, FA, and BO, besides the Library are answering and those that are just doing emails have let me know and I appreciate it very much. Thank you President Minner for letting me and others know the facts on the "Fall Semester" due to many students calling into the Switchboard with those questions. Just want to let students know due to lots of calls for different departments. If those could email me at magarduno@nmhu.edu. I want to give a shout out to the Security Office for holding up the fort and I did let Sylvia know that a community member know they were very happy to see the groundskeepers and those that are keeping it clean for us inside, thank you from me.

If people are bored I suggest that now is a time to start reading the many books about racisim in America, which would be appropriate given the current climate in America.

@Minner, is it true we are not hiring a new Director for Admissions?
Terri Law
52:17
@Gloria, we have reorganized SEM and eliminated that position, but continue to make recruitment and retention our top priority. Benito Pacheco is serving as our Director, SEM beginning July 1, and Reynaldo Maestas continues in an enhanced role as Assistant Director, Admissions

I couldn't agree more. What an incredible loss to the University. Her leadership, vision, and dedication to NMHU will be felt cross-campus.

Also, "Mercy Me" is a new film that is streaming for free on all streaming services that has had great reviews and explores racism specifically in the criminal justice system. Looking forward to watching it this weekend.

Yes, she is a unwavering example of leadership. She will not only be missed, but I believe she will also forever be remembered for her strong work ethic, and BOSS LADY charisma. NMHU will be the lesser without her.

@PeterLinder The library has a meeting today. I will bring up your question about ILL
Ruthy Watson

I would rather not lead a book club at this time. I think its good for people to read at their leisure or watch documentary films.
peterlinder
01:02:32
Thank you. Please don’t think I’m criticizing. The ILL office has been very good in getting articles and the like. But some of the resources I require are simply not available there.
