Since it's likely that enrollment will decrease, will there be a change in minimum numbers of students required, in order to run a class?
Is Roxanne on to answer this? Any of the deans?
Just to clarify, this is Shereen Lobdell, not David
The Deans have talked about this. It will really depend on the class, whether it is required for graduation, etc.
it’s also a part of negotiations between the faculty and administration right now
Christina, this sounds like business as usual
Thanks Dr. Jenkins and Dean Duran.
Will there be discussions about Zoom and accommodating students with disabilities during Faculty/Staff Development Days?
I brought it up to Roxanne last night.
Is Veronica on?
Okay Dr. Tamir, thanks.
Our students study the art in the program courses. Exhibitions are curated from the collection.
We have a plan prepared for testing and quarantine depending on what is decided.
thanks Kim for the update.
Thank you Dr. Minner for your support for our international students! I am glad to hear that the Trump Administration pulled back their response to have all international students taking online classes to leave the country. Again yours, including the Faculty Senate’s support and others is highly appreciated.
I echo Kim, all out of state students will quarantine for 14 days. All student-athletes will be tested per NCAA guidelines.
thank you Andrew for the update.
any update on a commencement date?
We are all back!
Roxanne is on vacation
Yes President Minner, we are here.
@Donna there is no word yet on commencement activities
@Donna & Hentietta- we will not be able to hold commencement in person until the mass gathering size is increased per the public health order
I came in late are we just going with online classes for the fall?
The default is online; face-to-face possible if pedagogically necessary and appropriate
Thank you, Dr. Minner
Thank you for letting me know I appreciate it
I really appreciate your weekly updates.
